Number of boxes = 5.

Let the number of balls in each box be x.

Total number of balls in 5 boxes = 20.

Total number of balls = Number of balls in each box × Number of boxes

20 = x × 5

x = 20 / 5

= 4

So, there are 4 balls in in each box.

A garden is divided into 25 small squares and 15 rose plants are planted in each square. Find the total number of rose plants in the garden.

Total number of rose plants = number of squares × number of rose plants in each square

= 25 × 15 = 375
[Substitute the values and multiply.]

So, the total number of rose plants in the garden is 375.
